Google Play publishing
Take your website-based Android app to Google Play
Move from a tested Android preview to signing, Play Console onboarding, listing preparation, controlled submission, and release tracking.
What the workflow covers
Build readiness
Confirm the package ID, version, signed AAB, checksum, tested website journeys, and required Android capabilities.
Developer-account onboarding
Use an available provider-account workflow where permitted by the plan, or connect your own eligible Google Play developer account.
Store listing
Prepare localized title and descriptions, contact information, privacy-policy URL, supported devices, and required visual assets.
Release controls
Prepare the target track, release status, rollout settings, release notes, countries, validation, approval, and submission history.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need an AAB?
A signed Android App Bundle is the normal release artifact for Google Play. An APK remains useful for direct testing before submission.
Can AppFromWeb publish using my Play Console account?
Yes when the selected plan supports client-account publishing and the required delegated access and validations are complete.
Can AppFromWeb guarantee approval?
No. Google makes the final decision. The workflow helps prepare and track the submission without bypassing Play policies or review.
Are Google developer fees included?
External Google fees are separate unless an order explicitly says otherwise. Current configured external fees are displayed with the public plans.
Test first, publish with evidence
Use a working preview and verified release artifact before committing to store submission.
